Suggest an Artifact
Every great museum is built on donations. If there's a famous quote you suspect the world is remembering wrong — the one your dad always says, the poster in the break room, the line everyone attributes to Einstein — donate it to the collection. Our researchers will trace the evidence and authenticate it.
If your suggestion becomes an exhibit, we'll credit you on the placard — the way museums have always honored their donors.
Received — your donation is with the registrar.
Every suggestion is checked against the catalog and, if it qualifies, joins the research queue. If it clears authentication and opens as an exhibit, your name goes on the placard.
What happens next? Every donation goes through the same pipeline as our own discoveries: duplicate check, research, evidence ranking, and a Museum Standards review. Only artifacts that clear the full gauntlet go on display — see How We Know.
